So who am I?

I’m a coffee drinking, dog walking, yoga loving, entrepreneur with bags of enthusiasm and tons of good ideas.

With my family background originating from both the Caribbean and Wigan, I was always going to have an interesting take on life!

I have a long lasting passion for books and writing, am always curious and love to to learn new things.  At uni I achieved a BA Hons in Literature and then leapt into the world of employment.  I sampled a range of different sectors. starting with retail and moving through to jobs in sales, finance, broadcast radio, admin, marketing, railway projects and construction (what can I say? I like variety!). 

Next came a postgrad qualification in teaching and 16 wonderful years as an Early Years Teacher.  During this time, I led a team of Early Years practitioners in a fast-paced environment where no two days were ever the same. Connecting with families, children’s services, speech therapists, school nurses, GP’s, social services, grandmas, grandads, local sports stars, lollipop ladies and the church vicar, it was a wonderfully sociable role.

Then came my time to shine… as a creative copywriter!  All the skills gained over the past few years came together and everything made sense.
