Bringing the Story of School to Life.

Creating Amazing Websites for Schools.

As someone who spent 16 years in the classroom, I know first hand the magic that happens in schools every day. These moments—full of creativity, growth and discovery—often go unnoticed by the outside world.

After all, let’s be honest, no matter how enthusiastic our questions are, a tired 6 year old doesn’t give much away at the end of a long school day!

This is why creating primary school websites has become a passion of mine. These websites are more than just a digital presence; they’re a window into the heart of the school, showcasing the unique character and daily magic that make each school special.

Here’s why I find this work so important…

      • Easing the Workload – Teachers and headteachers are already juggling so much! A well-organised website can significantly lighten their load by centralising information and resources. This not only helps the staff manage their time more efficiently but also ensures that parents and carers have easy access to important updates and materials.

        • Enhancing Communication – A good website acts as a bridge between the school and its community. It provides a platform for clear and consistent communication, keeping families informed and involved in their children’s education. This transparency creates a sense of trust and partnership between school, pupils and families.

          • Showcasing Unique Character – Every school has its own personality and set of values. Through thoughtful design and content, a school’s website can highlight these unique aspects, attracting prospective families who share the same educational vision. It’s a chance to tell the school’s story in a way that resonates with both current and future pupils and their caregivers.

            • Supporting Inspections – A comprehensive, up-to-date website can be invaluable during inspections. By providing a detailed overview of the school’s programs, policies and achievements, it helps paint a complete picture of the school’s environment and educational quality. This can ease the inspection process for everyone involved.

              • Capturing the Magic – Perhaps most importantly, a website can capture and share the everyday magic of school life—those special moments that happen in classrooms, playgrounds and hallways. Whether through photos, videos, or blog updates, these stories bring the school community closer together and allow parents to experience a piece of their child’s world.

There are countless benefits to having a cohesive, up-to-date primary school website.

If your school could use some support, whether it’s for a website audit, DfE compliance check or a complete redesign, I’m here to help. I collaborate with a talented team of web designers, photographers, printers and branding experts to bring each school’s vision to life.
